Krusevac
June started with a trip to Krusevac in Serbia. Me and Katka went to visit a friend there, doing EVS. Although it was a very short trip and we were more on the road than in Krusevac, we had a nice time in this small city. We hung out with Marta and her friends and visit some nice bars and a kafana. |

World Cup
This month there was also the world cup. Together with Ondrej I visited the "Holland House" to watch the games. Till some point we could support each others countries. Untill... we played against each other.Also this march we watched together in the Holland bar. With all the dutch people, some Macedonian and two Slovaks, Ondrej made noise for whole Slovakia.

Alarm
This month it was also time for Alarm Festival in Ohrid. A 3 days festival with all types of music, mainly from Macedonia and other Balkan countries. The location was beautiful, on the big Ohrid lake, surrounded by mountains. Most of the volunteers and some other friends were there as well and we had a very nice time with listening to music, laying on the beach and swimming.

About:Blank
Our colleague Bojana asked us if we could host 2 of her friends from Berlin, who are in Macedonia for a photography project called About:Blank. Of course that was not a problem, especially now Bojana is our gold fish :p
I think it's hard to find nice pictures of Macedonia, and they're often more or less the same. And this while this country is so beautiful. So I really support their project.
about:blank is a German-Macedonian photography project, initiated by Carolin Weinkopf and Nadine Zöllner, with Bojana Stojmenovska as a partner in Skopje. Our goal is to bring the two countries a little closer together and raise knowledge and awareness of and for each other.
They stayed more than 3 weeks in Macedonia and made lots of pictures. Click here to see them.
I enjoyed their stay here very much and I wish them a lot of luck with their project.
